The oversized book is full of color pages and goes through the evolution of the cloth to the meaning and names of the cloth. The book was put together as part of the UCLA Fowler exhibition in 1998. Ignore the other comment about the|About the Author|Doran H. Ross is the former director of the UCLA Fowler Museum of Cultural History. Other contributors include Agbenyega Adedze, Abena P. A. Busia, Nii O. Quarcoopome, Betsy D. Quick, Raymond A. Silverman, and Anne Spencer.
